트럼프 대통령과 미국 국민을 대신하여 대한민국 국민 여러분께 축하의 말씀을 전합니다.

여러분들이 8월 15일, 대한민국의 건국의 날을 기념함에 있어서 우리는 민주주의, 자유, 인권, 그리고 법치를 향한 여러분의 헌신이 오늘날 여러분들의 성공의 토대가 되었다고 생각합니다.


미국이 인도-태평양 지역의 평화와 안전을 진전시키기 위해 노력함에 있어 양국간의 밀접한 인적 연대, 강력한 경제 관계, 그리고 포괄적인 글로벌 파트너십과 함께 이러한 가치들이 우리 양국을 함께 결속시켜 주는 것입니다.
